For the last two days, residents in the outskirts of Juba, including Gudele and Gurie, have been without water following a call to water suppliers to reduce prices and to deliver only treated water.
This morning at Gudele Block Six a group citizens stopped a water tanker apparently using force to supply them with water.
The authorities forbade water tankers to fill directly from the river and sell treated water instead at a cheaper price.
In Gurie, a drum of water sells at 20 Pounds.
The tankers, in protest, stopped supplying the communities outside Juba.
They were ordered to resume water delivery to people in Gudele.
