A businessman has lost over 40,000 Pounds in Torit town when burglars broke into his shop on Wednesday night.
50-year old businessman Idris Suleiman Mohamood told the police that burglars broke into his shop at Hai Korton along the Juba Road and stole cash and items worthy 40,000 Pounds.
According to the police statement, the thieves stole 28,000 pounds in cash, and 12,000 pounds airtime and ten boxes of cigarettes.
Mr Suleiman also lost his trading license, nationality certificate, identity card and passport.
The police department of criminal investigation said that they have clues about the suspects and that they will immediately arrest them if enough evidence is established.
