Eight people were killed and five injured when Antonov warplanes from Sudan Air Force carried out two consecutive bombardments on Monday evening in the Om-Dorein area of Nuba Mountains in South Kordofan.
A local source told CRN News that four men and one girl were killed when a bomb hit a house in Angolo.Another three civilians were killed in an attack in Buram locality.
Five people, one girl, one woman and three men, were also injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
One eyewitness said some of the victims were attacked while looking for cover.
