The SPLM-North deputy chairman Abdulaziz A. Elhilu sent his written wishes to all Christians to celebrate Christmas peacefully throughout South Kordofan although the situation is deteriorating in the State.
Civil council secretary general Abdul Gader Issa read Mr. Elhilu message with a call to celebrate and pray for the saviour Jesus Christ.The message said Christians should pray that God’s power may save Nuba Mountains and bring peace to all marginalizes areas.
Mr Issa added that despite of many difficulties like gunshots, aerial bombardments, long range missiles and rockets, Christians should pray hard for governor Elhilu so that God may grant him power to lead the State into peace and freedom.
