The Government of Southern Sudan has got a small bi-motor plane to improve the speedy deployment of organized forces when insecurity crises arise across Southern Sudan, especially during the critical time of elections.

The white plane with the flag of Southern Sudan in its tail is parked at Juba International Airport.

Airport sources told SCR News that the aircraft is for GoSS Ministry of Internal Affairs to move police and other security forces across the region.

Another source added that the plane was already blessed at the request of Minister Gier Chuang Aluong.

SCR News tried unsuccessfully to contact the ministry to get more details about the purchase of the plane, its specificities and mission.
