Ofeni Ngota, the commissioner of Morobo County, in Central Equatoria State, has urged all citizens to respond positively to the undergoing polio immunization campaign.

He appealed to the religious leaders and social community workers to raise awareness among those who do not know the importance of polio immunization.
He said that due to constant polio vaccine treatment, few cases have been confirmed in the county and the authority is pleased to work closely in partnership with UNICEF in support for the campaign.

The field assistance on polio eradication program in Morobo County, Augustine Taban, said that this year only four cases of acute flaccid paralysis were registered in the county.
