The Second Ministerial Coordination workshop for state ministers of information has recommended that all the ten state ministers of information and Abyei region be distributed media equipments in an effort to achieve effective elections.
Reading out the recommendations and resolutions to the participants, Atem Yaak Atem, media consultant in GoSS ministry of Information, said the ministries shall be provided with recording and broadcasting equipments and working facilities like vehicles.The recommendations also called for the building of television and radio stations in each state.
All state ministers received video cameras and money in cash to buy motorcycles and bicycles for effective coverage of the forthcoming elections and the referendum.
The three/day workshop concluded today in Juba.
