A chief invigilator in the ongoing South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education examination has said that the authorities are fully prepared to handle education affairs in the new country.

Henry Kajokole Simon told Good News Radio that the country’s ability to conduct a national examination within the first year of independence is an indication that the Government of the Republic can manage her own affairs.

Mr. Kajokole praised the Loreto Sisters for opening a girls’ boarding secondary school in Lakes State.

He urged parents to allow their daughters to attend school saying that a bird needs two wings to fly and if only boys go to school the bird of education is missing one wing.
