The Greater Bahr El-Ghazal Youth Union has been officially formed following the resolutions of last month’s Aweil Youth conference.
A youth delegation announced on Monday in Juba that the government approved the Greater Bahr El Ghazal youth Union’s formation.Joseph Lual Dario Deng, Union state co-coordinator in Wau, told Radio Voice of Hope that the union will help the youths to participate positively in building the nation.
He noted that through the union the youth in Bahr El- Ghazal will be able to fight some challenges that they are facing including unity, development and prosperity.
Mr. Lual said the union discussed a long term plan that aims at creating self-reliance and employment and discourage idleness among the youth.
Mr. Lual added that the Union is planning to hold youth conferences at state level to implement its activities.
