SAF, the Sudan Armed Forces, are using more and more long range rocket missiles against civilian targets in Nuba Mountains of South Kordofan that killed at least 11 people this week alone.

On Monday afternoon, missiles hit Karindi in Heiban County killing two people and wounding another two, a local source told CRN News via e-mail.

On the same day, SAF’s missiles struck Um Sardiba market and Habashum village in Um Durain County killing nine civilians and wounding 18 more.

The locals say the missiles came from the direction of Kadugli, the capital of South Kordofan.

The rocket missiles are believed to be of Iranian origin.
