The new director of Bakhita Radio has promised to further the development of the Voice of the Church in Juba.
Albino Tokwaro Fabian told the gathering that bade farewell to director Cecilia Sierra Salcido and welcomed him in the position that we will maintain and develop Bakhita Radio to fulfil its goals of evangelizing, educating and informing citizens.He said Bakhita Radio needs good sustenance because the station is only five years old.
Mr. Tokwaro said he feels comfortable to work with the staff of Bakhita Radio because most of them know their work and carry their duties accordingly.
Cecilia Sierra, the outgoing director, said she dedicated herself to upbringing of Bakhita Radio since 2006.
Sr. Sierra added that nobody is permanent and changes must happen.
The farewell and welcoming party for Bakhita Radio directors was attended by Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro of Juba, Deputy Minister for Information Atem Yak Atem, Vicar General Fr. Nicolas Kiri and Secretary General Fr. Martin Ochaya Lino, church personnel, and many Bakhita friends, partners and staff.
