ARCHBISHOP OF JUBA PRAISES COLLABORATION BETWEEN INFORMATION MINISTRY AND BAKHITA RADIO

The Catholic Archbishop of Juba has thanked the national ministry of information for cooperating with Bakhita Radio throughout the five years the station has been on air.

Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro made the public thank you yesterday during the change of directors at Bakhita Radio.

Comboni Missionary Sister Cecilia Sierra Salcido ended her term of office as Directress of Bakhita Radio and returned today to Mexico.

Albino Tokwaro, the former manager of Radio Liberty, was appointed the new director of Bakhita Radio.

Archbishop Lukudu thanked the national minister for information in the person of his Deputy Atem Yak Atem for the constant support to Bakhita Radio.

He explained that the minister and the deputy minister opened ways for Bakhita Radio to implement activities to educate the public in various ways through open interactive discussions and many other programmes.

Archbishop Lukudu also thanked the media houses in Juba for helping the Church to spread the Good News to the people of God.

The farewell and welcoming party was attended by Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro of Juba, Deputy Minister for Information Atem Yak Atem, Vicar General Fr. Nicolas Kiri and Secretary General Fr. Martin Ochaya Lino, church personnel, and many Bakhita friends and partners.
