A mobile telephone operator has extended its coverage to Uguruny community, in Eastern Equatoria, contributing to a more secure environment and linking residents with the whole world.
Valentino Sale headed a commission to thank the government and the operator for covering their area with the mobile networkHe told the press this morning in Juba that since the mobile system was switched on in Oguruny of Hiyala Payam cattle raiding reduced.
He added that villagers broke isolation and now are able to connect with the whole world and communicate with relatives, friends and acquaintances.
Dr. Sale concluded that the number of crimes have been reduced due to quick communication between villagers and security personnel in the village.
He added that the community of Oguruny welcomes any development initiative in the village.
