The African Union Panel announced today that Sudan and South Sudan have resumed negotiations on post referendum arrangements.
The negotiations resumed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Monday, with talks on border issues including the principles and demarcation of soft borders.
The statement added that today additional delegates from the two governments arrived in Addis Ababa to continue the negotiations.
Last week, the government of Khartoum announced it was not interested in resuming the negotiations that include borders, oil export arrangements, Abyei and nationality arrangements.
