An organization has decided to recruit national teachers for Nuba Mountains major schools in order to deliver quality education to the pupils.
Joseph Francis Lagu is the Education Coordinator of Nuba Relief Rehabilitation and Development Organization. He said the group is planning to recruit national teachers for the 25 biggest schools in Nuba Mountains.Mr. Lagu said many donors have stopped sending their support and the organization does not have the capacity to support all schools.
He added that the recruited teachers, basing on their qualifications, will be deployed in schools which have many pupils.
They will be teaching the higher classes.
The local government has not yet decided how it will operate secondary schools in Nuba Mountains during next academic year.
