The US special Envoy to Sudan arrived this week in Juba and met top government officials to talk about the unresolved post-secession issues.

During his meetings, Princeton Lyman talked about oil and transition financial arrangements, trade, Abyei and borders.

He also talked about the growing humanitarian problems in South Kordofan and Blue Nile states.

Mr. Lymann called upon the government of Sudan and SPLM-North to end the fighting and allow humanitarian agencies access the victims.

He also called upon the SAF and SPLA to pull back from Abyei.

Mr. Lymann is expected to travel to Khartoum to have similar discussions with president Bashir and his officials.
