The South Sudan Law Society is conducting a two-day training for 20 women on basic principles of human rights.

The administrator of South Sudan Law Society in Yei, Guya Joseph Daniel, said women rights are being violated in many ways like denial to employment and participation in public activities.

Mr. Guya said the training will help the women with skills and encourage their fellow sisters in advocating for their rights.

Elizabeth Chol, one of the participants at the training, explained that the event will help her change the community.

She appealed to the community to respect the rights of women regardless of biological differences.
