Don Bosco Catholic Mission in Tonj was blessed with the arrival of four new sisters from India.

The sisters belong to the Mary help of Christians Congregations, the feminine branch of the Don Bosco family, and were accompanied by their Mother General, Don Bosco FM reported.

Mother general Mary Thadavanal said that her congregation is coming to Tonj to help conveying God’s message to the people in South Sudan.

She assured the young people that their main aim is to make local people missionaries of their own place.

Salesian Delegate of Sudan and South Sudan Fr. Ryen Ferrington urged the youth to cooperate with the sisters and teach them local languages like Dinka, Luo and Bongo.

He asked the young people should make these sisters feel at home.
