JOSS ALLOCATES JUDGES TO STATES TO DEAL WITH ELECTION DISPUTES

The judiciary of Suthern Sudan has revealed that it has allocated at least six high court judges in each state to deal with and solve election disputes.

Addressing journalists, the Vice President of JOSS, Justice John Kuc Akot, said that the judges will deal exclusively with election disputes and have already been designated.

Justice Ruben Madal Arol explained that the judges who have been selected have over ten years experience in the field and have the capacity to resolve election disputes fairly.

He called upon the government to avail necessary equipments needed to facilitate the judges’ efficiency during their term of work.
