The Chairman of the Sudan People Liberation Movement for Democratic Change (SPLM-DC) in the US state of Nebraska has abandoned his party for SPLM.
Biel Jock Gich, told journalists yesterday that he is officially resigning from SPLM-DC to join SPLM.
Mr. Jock said the reason for his transfer is due to unclear vision of the party, and added that SPLM-DC does not represent the interest of the marginalized people of the Sudan and contradicts the party’s purpose and objectives inscribed in its document.
Mr. Jock said Sudan is under a critical time where the formation of any opposition party against the SPLM will be against the interest of the marginalize people of the Sudan.
He urged members of SPLM-DC in the Diaspora to reconsider their decisions in joining the party.
Mr. Jock said all Southerners should reconcile and look forward for the referendum.
