Caritas Switzerland yesterday launched a 24-month project in Eastern Equatoria State after one month training of facilitators in Torit.
Caritas manager for Non-State Actors project, Amos Nderi, revealed to Radio Emmanuel that the project aims at capacity building of facilitators in three geographical areas of Burgilo, Narus and Kudo.Mr. Amos added that the Non-State Actors project will enable the groups in the coverage areas to implement important activities to benefit the communities through the small resources given by Caritas.
He added that over 20 participants completed a month’s training.
They will participate in state planning, be involved in helping the communities to identify their needs and prioritize on the projects they would want to implement.
