CIVIC ENGAGEMENT CENTRE FALLS WITHIN PRESIDENT’S 100 DAYS PLAN

The caretaker minister for information and spokesman of the government of the of South Sudan said the establishment of the Civic Engagement Centre in Juba falls within the 100 days plan of the president of the Republic.

In the joint meeting of the South Sudan Legislature in Juba, President Salva Kiir Mayardit presented a 100-day programme of development across the country after the formation of the new national government.

Barnabal Marial Benjamin, who represented the President at the official launch of Civic Engagement Centre in Juba, told the crowd that the centre’s establishment falls within the President’s 100 days of development plan.

Dr. Marial called upon the people of South Sudan to follow the President’s call for unity, equality and freedom for every citizen.

He said the government has full responsibility to ensure better living conditions for the citizens of south Sudan.

Dr. Marial was speaking at the official launch of the Civic Engagement Centre in Juba.

The centre is established to foster social networking and interaction among civil society organization and strengthen social fabric weakened by decades of civil conflict.
