The displaced people from Tonj East County are severely suffering from hunger, lack of shelter and other non food items, said the area commissioner.
Akec Tong said that his leadership requested World Vision and WFP to provide some food for the displaced people.He also added that they have requested Red Cross to provide them with shelter and some mosquito nets.
The displaced are a result of the tribal conflict in Warrap between two rival communities.
Mr. Akec urged the government to take quick actions to calm down the situation in Tonj adding that disarmament is necessary for the citizens.
