The Vice Chancellor of the University of Juba has pledged to exempt all sons and daughters of war martyrs from tuition fees.
Agrey Abate said in his remarks at today’s university independence celebration that the children of those who died during the war, widows, and disabled persons will be excused from their fees.He added that soldiers who left the university during the war are welcomed to continue their studies.
Prof. Abate urged the government to intervene through the relevant ministries to help the university claim assets worthy more than 300 million pounds detained in Khartoum, including land, buildings, vehicles, equipment and libraries.
