A nongovernmental organization has strategized a five-year long term plan to help develop South Sudan in various ways.

Plan International Country Director Fikru Abebe told Bakhita Radio that his organization is going to increase assistance to the education sector.

He added that Plan International is ready to assist the youth engaged in technical vocational skill training to promote peace in the region.

Mr. Abebe said his organization was investing in girls’ education by building more schools and providing a good environment to keep girls at school.

Plan International was operating in Central Equatoria. In the next five years it wants to expand to Eastern Equatoria, Lakes, Jonglei and Northern Bahr el Ghazal states.

The organization intends to cover the whole country after 2016.
