JUBA MAYOR SAYS CLEANING CONTINUES BEYOND INDEPENDENCE

The Mayor of Juba City Council told the crowd gathered to celebrate the independent of South Sudan yesterday that the cleaning of Juba would continue indefinitely.

Mohammed Alhaj Babala explained that his cleaning campaign was not only intended for the Independence Day.

He called on the citizens of Juba to clean the town and plant trees in their city to portray a better image of the city.

In a related development, Mr. Babala encouraged the citizens of Juba to take over the businesses in the city.

He urged the Juba City Council Chambers of Commerce to help the local people access credit institutions such as banks to enter into business in the city.

Mr. Babala was speaking yesterday at the official celebrations independence of the Republic of south Sudan organized by Kator Payam.
