A 19-year-old girl from Yambio is appealing to well-wishers and humanitarian organizations to support her dream of joining university after completing her secondary education last year.

Sunday Stella, a South Sudanese national, said she has been unable to continue with her studies due to financial difficulties faced by her family.

“I live with my mother after losing my father when I was two years old,” Stella said. “My mother is just a small-scale farmer with many responsibilities. We are ten children in total six girls and four boys and among the girls, I am the only one who managed to complete Senior Four.”

Stella completed her Senior Four in 2024 but has since struggled to raise tuition fees for university. She expressed strong determination to continue her education if given the opportunity.

“I am really willing to join university this year,” she appealed. “Please help me find someone who can support my education. I will be highly grateful for any assistance.”

Despite the challenges, Stella remains hopeful that her story will reach generous individuals or organizations willing to sponsor her university education and help her achieve her dream of building a better future for herself and her family.
