Yei River County yesterday receive 77,000 Sudanese pounds for its independence celebrations.
Assistant commissioner for Culture and Information Ephraim Jomo Michael told Easter Radio that the five payams of the county together with Yei headquarters have received 12,000 pounds each for the celebrations.The remaining 5,000 pounds were allocated for the security organs.
Mr. Jomo said each payam sent a six-delegate team to witness the reception and distribution of the money, including the payam administrators.
