The Government is has granted access to limited areas of Kadugli town where humanitarian partners have their offices but aid workers are not allowed to access all other locations in South Kordofan.
Although the government and the SPLM-North agreed on political and security arrangements for South Kordofan and Blue Nile, the UN says that the Sudanese air force did not stop its air strikes in South Kordofan.It says that there were reports of aerial attacks in Talodi on 25 June and in Kauda area two days later causing civilian casualties and severe injuries.
Kadugli and Um Durein were also attacked.
