The newly elected speaker at Upper Nile assembly has promised to unite people and fight corruption.
Chol Chuol Arop was voted to the position of state legislative speaker on Friday, Voice of Love FM reported.He said that he would complete the work started by the former speaker and the recent acting speaker.
Mr. Chuol said he will make efforts to make government and assembly members to work together.
He added that he will not hesitate or fear to release any order against any kind of corruption or bad cooperation against the state property.
Mr. Arop, who has served as a minister and commissioner, assured the House that his office is not a promotion but he will bring success to the state.
He vowed to join hands with the state governor to work for the development of Upper Nile.
