Eastern Equatoria State Governor Louis Lobong Lojore has called on political leaders and communities to abandon revenge-driven politics and embrace peace.
“We must abandon politics of revenge and the culture of violence. There is no honor in conflict. The future belongs to builders, not destroyers. We need dialogue, political maturity, and a desire to end divisive politics as we work to rebuild this country.”
Lobong urged all political parties to prioritize peaceful dialogue over division and to recognize each other as partners in nation-building.
“I call upon all political parties in Eastern Equatoria to engage in honest, respectful dialogue in the interest of our people. We are not enemies but partners. Our political differences should strengthen—not divide—our resolve to build a united nation.”
He further emphasized the importance of unity and encouraged citizens to reject hatred and division.
“Let us live together in peace. Eastern Equatoria is big enough for all of us. Our diversity is our strength. I call upon every family, youth group, and women’s group to focus on food production. We must fight hunger with hoes, not guns.
