A total of 159 Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), representing 795 members (401 males and 394 females), have been successfully selected for Phase 2 of the Youth Enterprise Development and Capacity Building (YEDCB) Project.
The MSEs will undergo a two-week Business Development Services training across the five counties of Lakes State: Rumbek Centre, Rumbek East, Cueibet, Wulu, and Yirol West. The selected groups will receive interest-free loans to boost their businesses and create more economic opportunities.
The Youth Enterprise Development and Capacity Building (YEDCB) Project continues to equip youth and women entrepreneurs in five states with access to finance and skills to build sustainable businesses, boost livelihoods, and drive economic growth in South Sudan. This has been made possible through the generous support of the African Development Bank Group.
