The Bishop of the Catholic Church Diocese of Wau, Matheow Remijo Adam, unveiled plans to establish the Diocesan Council in the upcoming year.
This initiative aims to foster greater collaboration and participation among all diocesan institutions.
The announcement came during the annual evaluation meeting that convened all departments of the Diocese at the Palica Center at the end of the week.
Bishop Adam highlighted that some diocesan institutions currently operate somewhat independently, but the creation of the Diocesan Council will enable these institutions to come together, exchange ideas, and support each other in a unified manner.
Bishop Adam emphasized the importance of sustainability and urged the diocesan departments to focus on long-term evangelism efforts that would benefit both the faithful and future generations.
The Bishop also stressed the inevitability of challenges in any undertaking. He encouraged the various diocesan departments to persevere and seek solutions rather than give up when faced with difficulties.
He urged them to work closely as a family and build strong relationships for the greater good of the diocese.
Bishop Adam addressed diocesan staff during the meeting, underscoring the importance of unity and collaboration in the work of the church.
The bishop called for stronger bonds of cooperation within the diocesan family to ensure progress and development.
