The priests and laity of catholic diocese of Yei started a study session on the new evangelization for the transmission of Christian faith.
Speaking during the official opening of the study session, the bishop of Yei Erkolano Lodu Tombe said the topics to be discussed were chosen by Pope Benedict for the preparation of the thirteenth ordinary synod of bishops.Bishop Lodu said that the booklet provided had some suggested study topics.
The bishop mentioned that all the catholic churches are expected to give their answers for the production of another booklet.
The study session meeting was attended by the priests and lay Christians from the diocese.
