The Governor of Upper Nile State, James Odhok Oyai, participated in the Holy Childhood Feast celebrations at St. Joseph Cathedral yesterday. The feast, which honors the child Jesus, is usually held on October 1st but was postponed to October 6th due to scheduling conflicts.

Addressing the faithful, Governor Odhok called on children to actively participate in church activities, stressing that the Church’s teachings pave the way for a brighter future.

“The Church plays a critical role in educating and guiding our children,” Odhok said, urging children to stay away from groups involved in criminal activities, which he identified as a significant threat to society.
