The fuel and food crisis in Lakes State is expected to be over during the next ten days.

Lakes State Director for commence and supply Andrew Luk told Good News Radio that fuel companies assured the government that in seven to ten days the supply of fuel would normalize.

He added that the Government of South Sudan was making provisions to import food and other commodities from East Africa.

Mr. Luk noted that the fuel crisis was a problem affecting the whole of South Sudan.

He added that Khartoum boycotted food and fuel supplies to South Sudan but GoSS was making efforts to import fuel and other goods from East Africa.
