His Eminence Stephen Cardinal Ameyu Martin Mulla the Archbishop, of the Juba Catholic Archdiocese, announced the resolution of the 19th Pastoral Council on Friday 12th July.

The Directives are on the concerns that have emerged for the growth of the Parishes and Catholic Church Institutions.

In a statement Cardinal read out to the media indicated that anyone to receive baptism is not limited and a child can be baptized at least from eight days after delivery.

Cardinals encourage the parent to choose a suitable name from the saints, apostles, or prophets.

The Catholic leader also talks about the unification of the education system in the Church. He says all catholic schools should have a unified mock examination to prepare the students for the national examination.

Cardinal says those authorities to teach Christian religion within the Catholic Schools must be a Catholic if not at least qualified Anglican to maintain clear content of faith.

His Eminence in the statement emphasized that Catholic schools should be headed by qualified religious brothers, Sisters, and priests.

Cardinal Stephen calls the Parishes and Church Institutions to implement the directives with immediate effects.
