The Catholic Diocese of Wau launched the Cardinal Zubier palace curia new building offices on Thursday which consists of 20 offices, meeting halls, and sitting rooms.
Hundreds of faithful including State government officials and the international organization attended the inauguration.
Bishop Matthew Remijo Adam of Wau Catholic Diocese says the palace’s inauguration is within the celebration of the Eucharistic Congress since the establishment of the local church 50 years ago.
He emphasizes that the inauguration of the Cardinal Zubier Palace is to honor the Cardinal for his great work in serving the Catholic Church since her establishment.
Remijo Adam points out that, there is no permanent office whether in church or government institution all offices are temporary unless the office of God.
“Once you enter an office prepare the outing for those who will come after you because there is no work that can finish with an individual”, he narrates.
The governor of Western Bahr el Ghazal State Sarah Cleto Rial congratulates the Catholic Church for inauguring Cardinal Zubier Palace.
She appeals to the Catholic Church to pray for the government so that they can overcome all challenges that may come their way and to serve in harmony to address any issues that face the community.
The officials were speaking during the Inauguration of the Gabriel Cardinal Zubier Palace (Curia office’s new building) at Curia premise in Wau.
