President Salva Kiir has relieved the Minister of Finance and Planning, Eng. Awow Daniel Chuang in a republican order read on Wednesday at the national broadcast SSBC.
The change came at time inflation keep rising in the country, civil servant salary not being paid for nearly ten month that cause protest in some states.
Kiir appointed Hon. Dr. Marial Dongrin Ater as a new Minister of Finance and Planning.
The president also dismissed NILEPET Managing Director Engineer Bernard Amour Makeny and brought in Engineer Mohamed Benjamin Lino.
Dr. Chol Deng Thon is also appointed as the new Undersecretary in the Ministry of Petroleum replaced Dr William Anyak.
Kiir also appointed Harriet Pasquale as Health Ministry Undersecretary replaced Ader Machar.
