Two young men were robbed on Saturday night at Loroboka Bridge in Yei River County by unknown gunmen.
One of the robbed persons who preferred anonymity told Easter Radio that the victims were stolen when they were returning home from the launch of Yei Youth Garden.He said the thieves were dressed in military uniform.
The assailants appeared as the victims were crossing the bridge and force them to lay down at gun point.
Two assailants beat them using military belts, took their mobile telephones and 100 Sudanese pounds form their pockets and left them to go.
One of the young men sustained minor injuries in the mouth.
He urged the people not to use the bridge at late hours.
