The Catholic University of Sudan Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in Juba today gave official recognition to a new administration of the Students Union.
The new elected body was sworn in by Justice Samuel Dong, himself a lecturer of Business Law at the university.The newly elected Students Union president Ganun Victor urged the elected members and students to cooperate in order to achieve the objectives of the University.
He urged the government to support private universities that have capacity to build strong human resources in the nation to increase productivity and promote girls’ higher education.
Mr. Ganun said the Students Union is committed to preserve the Catholic Social Teaching.
He called upon students to be agents of peace and engage in the welfare of the community.
