Wau Diocese ordains Deacon two men of different Hierarchies

The Catholic Church Diocese of Wau on Sunday in St. George Parish in Northern Bahr El Ghazal state Awiel has ordained two Men of God to different Hierarchies.

The ordination was presided over by His Lordship Bishop Matthew Remijio Adam of Wau Catholic Diocese. 

Acolyte Stanislas was ordained to deaconate and Deacon Charles Akoon Nuer was ordained to priesthood.

New Priest Fr. Charles Akoon Nuer expresses his happiness and gratitude to God for his protection and guidance throughout his entire life.

He points out nobody should be driven away by anyone from serving God citing that all are invited by God to serve Him and his people in different aspects.

Charles Akoon appeals to the faithful in the Diocese to pray for them to continue serving God and his people citing that the world is full of temptation that can only be overcome by prayers.

Bishop Matthew Remijio Adam tells the new God servants to be role Models and Mentors that can guide God’s people toward his path.

He expects the new servants to be light that can light the world of the parishioners and guide them.

The Ordination ceremony was attended by state Government officials headed by Governor Tong Akeen Ngor, Faithful from Western and Northern Bahr El Ghazal states
