The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek, Christian Calasssare, has urged Christians to discipline themselves always and be content with their mistakes.
Bishop encouraged Christians to say sorry to each other whenever they make mistakes.
“We have to discipline ourselves, we cannot lives freely like everything is good let me take it. We can make mistakes in our life but mistake help you to see really is good,” he said.
This week, Rumbek Bishop visited Thiet parish to celebrate Christmas with the communities and erection of a new parish titled “Stephen” which was announced on 26th Dec 2023 in Thiet Payam.
Christians urged youths to work hard towards bringing peace to society. The Church leader clarified that forgiveness is a proactive energy to resist evil acts.
Bishop Calassare described forgiveness as a strength gifted by God to make change and people should not remain stuck when evil comes.
His Lordship was preaching in the morning mass during the second day of the 13th Youth Congress in Tonj.
