The delegation from the Sudanese Forces of Freedom and Change has appealed to President Salva Kiir Mayardit to double his efforts of mediating peace in Sudan due to his vast knowledge and relationship with Sudanese leaders.

The appeal came after President Kiir met with Forces of Freedom and Change, FFC delegation led by Omer Eldigair on Wednesday 22nd November in Juba to discuss the Sudanese crisis and possible solutions to resolve the conflict.

According to the presidential press, the meeting centred on mechanisms of ending the war based on “the outcomes of the Cairo Summit,” and the steps to unify the political and civil forces in Khartoum.

They also discussed initiatives proposed by neighboring countries to stop the war in Sudan.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Sadiq El Mahadi said President Kiir is going to bring all the warring factions together.

The Secretary of the Sudan Peace Mediation Committee, Doctor Dhieu Mathok said President Kiir is making unremitting efforts to find a lasting political solution to the Sudanese crisis.
