The archbishop of Juba announced today the reorganization of the PALICA Centre appointing a new director and a consultant team, saying the institution is the archdiocese’s heart and soul.

Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro told the Church personnel that Fr. Nicholas Kiri is the new PALICA director, assisted by Monsignor Aquilino Wani L‘pu, the former coordinator.

Archbishop Lukudu said the PALICA coordinating team will be aided by a team of consultants made up of one parish priest, the archdiocesan director of communications and media, a member of every religious institute operating in the archdiocese and one laywoman and one layman.

The Archbishop added that the PALICA executive committee will be chosen from the team of consultants.

Fr. Kiri, the new PALICA director, was teaching liturgy at St Paul’s Major Seminary in Khartoum where he was spiritual director.

Monsignor Wani will act as assistant director responsible for the translation unit.
