The Bishop Wau Catholic Diocese Matthew Remijo Adam has called the faithful to support the Church in evangelization for their wellbeing.

He says the faithful should support the parishes and diocese so that evangelization will continue across the Country.

Bishop Remijo argues that the support will help young men who want to become priests in their seminary studies.

The Catholic plenary cautions people not to think only about daily needs and forget about tomorrow, then evangelization will not expand.

He reveals that Aweil and Wau town needs about 3 to 6 parishes but the Diocese can’t build houses that will accommodate the priests in the parishes.

Adam points out that, the number of priests is not enough in the Catholic Diocese of Wau, and is very difficult for one priest to cover Wau town alone without another priest helping him.

The Bishop encourages the faithful to support the priests so that their spiritual demands are fulfilled and this will help the church to continue with evangelization.

The Bishop was speaking to the congregation on Monday at St. Mary’s Help of Christian Cathedral in Wau.
