The SPLA spokesperson said security should be a collective effort and called upon security officers and civilians to cooperate.
Talking to SCR news, Phillip Aguer Panyang said that security should be a goal achieved by both the military and the civil population.
Asked about the current security situation in south Sudan, he affirmed that the level of security has improved in the recent weeks, although the boarder areas still remain un-stable. He also assured SCR news that the next two months, prior to the declaration of South Sudan’s independence, will be peaceful.
Mr. Aguer called upon the people in south Sudan to cooperate with the peace keepers in case of any security incidents.
