The Catholic University of Sudan on Saturday conducted elections to choose the executive body for its Students Union.

The Students Union was operating with provisional leaders since the university started in 2008, Bakhita Radio reported.

Addressing the students after the announcement of the results, Richard Miriga, the University Academic affairs coordinator, commended the work of the electoral Committee.

Mr. Miriga called upon the students and the executive body to join hands to build the University in order to achieve its mission and vision.

Mr. Victor Ganun was elected new President for the student union. Only one female is represented on the body.
