The Bishop of Yei Catholic Diocese, Alex Lodiong Sakor has called on the people of Mvolo County in Western Equatoria state, and South Sudan to pray for sincere peace.
He [Lodiong] made the appeal during his visit to Saint Mary Chapel Mvolo county of Western Equatoria State.
Bishop called the politicians and armed groups to denounce hatred and violence that create division in the country.
He regretted that some individuals in the country do not want to respect human life, and undermines human rights.
The religious leader told parties to work and bring services to the people and avoid hate speech.
He revealed that any party that hates another is not a good party and tells people to reject them during elections.
Bishop Lodiong called for the freedom of political parties to exercise their political rights and bring services to people in South Sudan.
