The Catholic Archdiocese of Juba is restructuring the formation programme for seminarians and deacons who completed their theological studies and are engaged in pastoral service to prepare for the ordained ministries.

Yesterday, close to 50 priests, religious brothers and sisters attended a meeting with Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro and they discussed among other issues the reorganization of the system of formation offered to seminarians preparing for holy orders.

The Archbishop told Bakhita Radio that the meeting focused on how best the seminarians and deacons could be helped while doing their ministry experiences.

He explained that their formation should be a common concern of the whole community.

Archbishop Lukudu announced the formation of a technical committee to formulate guidelines to help seminarians and deacons complete their formation while preparing for ordination.

The meeting with the Church personnel focused on new and better approaches for seminarians during their pastoral service.
